Liverpool look as though they are already making additions to their youth ranks this summer by reportedly agreeing a deal to sign Steven Gerrard’s cousin Bobby Duncan from Manchester City.

The Liverpool Echo has claimed that the 17-year-old forward will join the Reds on July 2 for a fee of £200,000.

With Liverpool now able to poach young players from other English clubs after a transfer ban, it’s about time that they take a look into signing gifted Leeds United forward Kun Temenuzhkov, who has the potential to become a really good striker in the future.

Temenuzhkov, 18, was snapped up by Leeds last summer when he joined them from Barcelona.

He is one of the most highly-rated young talents at Elland Road and is said to be one of Bulgaria’s hottest prospects having rejected the chance to play for Spain’s youth teams in the past, according to a Bulgarian journalist.

Since joining Leeds, his predatory instincts inside the box has seen him compared to former Liverpool star Luis Suaurez, who according to the Guardian, was an idol of the teenager as he was growing up in Spain.

In the 2016/17 season, Temenuzhkov fired Barcelona’s Juvenil B team to the title, scoring 30 goals in 30 league appearances.

Since swapping Catalonia for Yorkshire, the Bulgarian teenager has continued his fine form by bagging the goals in Leeds’ Under-18s side – and now is the perfect time for Liverpool to swoop in.

Temenuzhkov can develop into an extremely talented forward if he is trained correctly and there is no place better for him to do that than at Melwood under the guidance of someone of the best youth coaches in world football.
