Leeds United fans were loving the reported development which arrived on Monday concerning the players pre-season, as it has emerged they might have to return to training early, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
The publication has revealed that with Marcelo Bielsa now in advanced talks with the club, the 62-year-old might want the players back in the fold one week prior to the original date which was set at June 25.
The Argentinian, whose last managerial position was in Ligue 1 with Lille, has been the main name in the frame along with occasional suggestions that Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce was also being lined up for the role, following the club’s decision to sack Paul Heckingbottom after only a short, unsuccessful stint at the club.
Bielsa has been credited by both Mauricio Pochettino and Pep Guardiola as being the best coach in the world as supporters get increasingly excited about what his potential leadership could bring to the club.
But, for now, it is the news of the player’s possible pre-season return which has delighted the Leeds faithful, who are thrilled to hear that the Argentinian supremo looks set to crack the whip.
