Nuno Espirito Santo has wasted no time to bring in a quality talent, that greatly helps his chances of keeping Wolves up next season. Jiménez is a natural threat going forward, during his 120 appearances for Benfica the Mexico international scored 31 goals, and assisted a further 15. The winning mentality and attacking presence brought with the 27-year-old will greatly help the Championship winners. Jiménez has 22 Champions League appearances, as well as winning the Portuguese Cup, Portuguese League Cup and Portuguese Super Cup during his time in Portugal. This experience could become crucial to Wolves success or failure next season, but his acquisition certainly represents a change in Wolverhampton’s fortunes. It seems that Wolves’ chances of Premier League survival just got a whole lot better. The 27-year-old also boasts an Olympic gold medal after he won the 2012 tournament in London, which further adds to the notion that he is a natural winner.
