With the concluding Sunday of the English Premier League a distant memory, the final table was a pretty one for Manchester City as the clear winner of this prestigious Premier League Title with a comfortable lead over all of their rivals.

The EPL is the most watched sports league in the world, broadcast in over 212 territories to 643 million homes and a potential TV audience of 4.7 billion people. With 100 points, Manchester City won their 3rd Premier League title last season under their manager and coach Pep Guardiola. Man City broke numerous Premier League records over the course of the season, including most points (100), most wins (32), most away wins (16), most goals (106), most consecutive league wins (18), highest goal difference (+79) and biggest winning points margin (19). City’s derby rival and 13 times champion Manchester United finished second as manager Jose Mourinho tried his best to up the ante of the team. Tottenham finished third with 77 points one position ahead of Liverpool who has managed to secure 75 points. Defending champions Chelsea finished 5th with 70 points followed by Arsenal who had a poor season with only 63 points. Arsenal bid goodbye with a farewell to their manager Arsene Wenger on their last match.

Mohamed Salah won the Golden Boot this season, possessing a two-goal lead over the Spurs man Harry Kane and surpassed the all-time Premier League record with 32 goals in a league season with 38 matches in his first year at Anfield. Salah also won the player of the season (2017-2018) award in addition to which he has won the player of the month three times this season.

David de Gea won the Golden Glove award of this season with 18 clean sheets.

With five Man City players featured, it is hard to look past them for the title next season, but due to the unpredictability of the EPL you just never know who will come out as champions.
