Tottenham fans on social media were rubbing their eyes in disbelief after seeing pictures of legendary forward Raúl González Blanco taking part in training.
Spurs’ official Twitter account tweeted out pictures of Mauricio Pochettino’s side training on Thursday ahead of Saturday’s game against West Bromwich Albion and took the time to announce that Raul was taking part in the session.

The London-based club revealed that Raul was working towards his professional coaching badges and welcomed the legendary Spanish striker to Hotspur Way.
Raul,40, featured 103 times for his nation, scoring 44 goals in his outings to cement himself as one of his country’s finest players in history.
The now-retired forward is also seen as a Real Madrid legend after playing 736 times for Spanish giants to help them win countless trophies.
Raul also scored an impressive 323 goals for Madrid in his outings, and his appearance at training, had Spurs fans dreaming of an alternative universe where he played for them.
Aside from drooling over the player’s legendary status, Tottenham supporters all opted to make the same joke about Raul’s presence.
With Spanish forward Fernando Llorente struggling to be among the goals for Spurs this season, in his debut campaign for the club, fans wondered if they could swap him for Raul.
