Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to urge the club to sign AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma in the summer transfer window after Loris Karius’ shocker against Real Madrid on Saturday night.
Karius made two massive mistakes that lead to the Reds losing 3-1 to Zinedine Zidane’s side.
First, the German bizarrely rolled the ball into Karim Benzema, who managed to deflect the ball into the back of the net from the edge of the penalty area.
After Sadio Mane got Liverpool back on level terms and Gareth Bale came off the bench to score one of the greatest Champions League goals of all times, Karius was again at fault for Madrid’s third when he dropped a Bale shot over the line.
Liverpool fans on Twitter now seem to have had enough of Karius and want Jurgen Klopp to snap up Italy international Donnarumma, who is widely regarded as one of the best young goalkeepers in world football.
One supporter claimed that the club should “break the bank” to sign the teenage shot-stopper.

Don Balon has recently claimed that Liverpool have tabled a bid for Donnarumma, who according to Sky Sports earns £100,000-a-week in his deal at the San Siro.
