Everton have confirmed the appointment of Marco Silva as the club’s new manager on a three-year deal and fans are rapturous after hearing the news which was confirmed on Twitter and the official website.

The Toffees parted ways with Sam Allardyce only a couple of weeks ago and from that point onwards, despite suggestions that Shakhtar Donetsk manager Paulo Fonseca would be taking charge of matters, Silva remained the frontrunner for the role.
The 40-year-old has been out of work since January when Watford chose to sever ties with the Portuguese following a run of one win in 11 after Everton’s pursuit of him to replace Ronald Koeman.
However, they finally have their man, and fans are delighted to hear that he is theirs.
One ordered their new boss to “Lead us to glory,” and another added that fans must now get behind their new arrival.
Even Liverpool supporters got in on the act and chose to have their say on the appointment, most of whom mocked their Merseyside rivals.
Silva will now be given the task of working alongside new director of football, Marcel Brands, as the two will look to build their squad for the upcoming campaign.
