Hibernian are lining up a move to re-sign Rangers attacker Kenny Miller, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper claims that Hibs are preparing an offer for the 38-year-old, who appears to have played his last game at Ibrox.

Him and teammate Lee Wallace have bothq been suspended indefinitely by the Gers pending an internal investigation into a row with manager Graeme Murty after last weekend’s Old Firm 4-0 defeat.

It is understood that veteran Miller wants to continue playing elsewhere and Neil Lennon’s team are eyeing a swoop.

The centre-forward’s deal with Rangers expires in the summer and Hibs, who are fourth-placed in the league, could add him to their ranks.

Good move for Rangers?

Miller’s future at Rangers looks set to end on a sour note and it doesn’t really matter where he ends up next season.

The Scottish attacker has scored five goals and supplied five assists in all competitions, but it’s hard to see him having any sort of future at Ibrox.

He started his senior career for Hibs back in 1998 and it would be fitting for him to complete the full circle by returning.

Likely to happen?

It would take a remarkable turnaround to see Miller remain with the Gers and he is set to find a new club over the summer.

A return to Hibs is definitely on the cards and would make sense for both parties, but there is likely to be further interest from other clubs.
