Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has warned Real Madrid that he will cost them at least £157.2million if they want to sign him, according to Don Balon.

The Spanish football news outlet claim that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez maintains contact with the 25-year-old winger, and that Salah has advised him about his potential cost.

Don Balon report that Salah, who knows that he could leave Anfield in the summer, has informed Perez that the only way to pay less than £157.2million is to offer the Reds Isco as part of any deal for his services.

It is believed that Jurgen Klopp loves the 25-year-old Real Madrid midfielder and he sees him as the next Philippe Coutinho.

Good move for Liverpool?

No.

Even if the Reds were offered Isco as part of any deal for Salah, it would be a bad move for the club.

Salah has taken Anfield by storm after scoring 40 goals in 45 appearances for the Reds this season, and the club can’t afford to lose him if they want to be successful in the near future.

Klopp could be right to compare Isco to Coutinho, as the 25-year-old attacking midfielder clearly is a great creative threat that any team would love to have.

This is shown by the fact that the Madrid midfielder has scored eight goals, while creating nine in 45 appearances this season.

However, it cannot be at the expense of Salah.

Likely to happen?

No.

Don Balon love churning out stories that suggest Salah is on his way out of Anfield and there’s no reason to believe their latest report.

The 25-year-old winger appears to love life at the Reds and always has a smile on his face, so it’s hard to believe that he thinks he’ll be leaving in the summer.
