Liverpool are showing concrete interest in a summer swoop for Germany Under-16 striker Karim Adeyemi, according to the Daily Mail. 

The newspaper claim that the Reds are in a good position to secure the 16-year-old wonderkid, who has impressed for SpVgg Unterhaching Under-19s and the Germany youth sides.

The Mail report that Liverpool are the favourites for his signature along with Bundesliga high-flyers RB Leipzig, with Chelsea and Manchester City also showing interest.

It is said that Adeyemi is keen on a move to England despite his young age, and that attitude could see Liverpool steal a march on their rivals for his services this summer.

Good move for Liverpool?

This is definitely one for the future, with Adeyemi showing huge potential at such a young age.

The left-footed forward has bags of pace to burn, and can use that speed to fill in on the wing when needed.

The amount of interest in the youngster is proof of his talent, and Liverpool would do well to move for him this summer.

The Reds academy is going through a productive period, and signing Adeyemi would add to that.
