Everton fans on social media slammed Sam Allardyce for claiming that he had done a good job as manager of the Toffees as they were above West Bromwich Albion in the league.
The former England manager bizarrely opted to brag about his performance in charge of the Toffees by stating that fans should look at where the club are in the league compared to the Baggies.
Greg O’Keeffe of the BBC was in attendance of Allardyce’s press conference on Friday and shared the news from it via his personal Twitter account.

While Allardyce’s statement about his side being above West Brom in the table is correct, it certainly did not go down well with Toffees supporters.
One fan tweeted to congratulate Allardyce on winning the higher than West Brom trophy, while another called him the worst appointment by the club in living memory.
While supporters are already livid with Allardyce over his latest comments, they could be even more angrier with him after this weekend.
The Toffees have a huge game against their bitter rivals Liverpool on Saturday at Goodison Park and fans will be unimpressed if the team don’t perform well in that game.
However Allardyce’s side face a difficult challenge achieving a result against the Reds, as Jurgen Klopp’s side have been in tremendous form all season.

Allardyce knows he’s finished but he’s a massive egotist; what we’re seeing now is the product of the two – the West Brom reference encapsulates this perfectly #EFC
