Tottenham fans on social media were impressed by Moussa Sissoko’s performance against Bournemouth on Sunday even though he played under 10 minutes of the game.

The 27-year-old midfielder replaced Dele Alli in the 86th minute of the 4-1 victory over the Cherries on Sunday and fans were blown away by his impact.

The scoreline was 2-1 when he came on, and despite only having four minutes plus added time to impress, fans believe he contributed to the two goals that were scored after he entered the game.

One supporter tweeted that Sissoko had come on and done the damage, while another reluctantly admitted on Twitter that the 27-year-old had been Spurs’ hero during the game.

Sissoko was making his 39th appearance of the season on Sunday but had only played a total of 13 minutes across his side’s last four league games ahead of the clash with Eddie Howes’ side.

Fans will be hoping he gets more minutes in the near future if he is able to impact games in the same way he did on Sunday.

The 27-year-old midfielder hasn’t endeared himself with supporters since joining the club from Newcastle United in 2016, with his performances being inconsistent throughout his time at the club.
