Steve Bruce must start to identify replacements for Aston Villa’s John Terry as the defender might leave the club at the end of his current contract in the summer.
The Daily Express previously reported that the 37-year-old had informed Bruce that his choice about what to do next will become clear at the end of the season, as he wants to ensure he makes the best decision possible.
The newspaper claimed that Terry will wait until May to make his final decision about his future in football, and that his decision rests on whether he can stomach playing against former club Chelsea.
The Villans could be set to play the Blues next season if they win promotion from the Championship.
Terry is beloved by Chelsea supporters, with the feeling being mutual, after spending 17-years at the club and winning many trophies during his time with them.
The 37-year-old signed a one-year deal with the Villans at the start of this season and has been impressive in the 29 appearances he has made for the club.
