Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has proven he can be a brilliant man manager and he should put that into practice to lift attacker Heung-Min Son.

The 25-year-old has become a key player for Spurs in recent years and started this season in stunning form.

He is a dynamic attacker that can play anywhere across the frontline and had scored 11 goals in his opening 30 games of the campaign.

However, Son’s form has crumbled somewhat recently with no goals in his last eight appearances and Pochettino needs to try lift his confidence.

The South Korea international has shown in the past when he is on form he is an integral component of the side as he links up brilliantly with the likes of Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Harry Kane.

He is going through a difficult patch right now and Spurs need him back on track as they look to achieve their ambitions in the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup.

There is a possibility that Son now feels his place his under threat following the return of Erik Lamela from injury and the arrival of Lucas Moura from Paris Saint-Germain in January.

Pochettino definitely now has options in the final third and Son could find himself out of the starting XI if his goal drought stretches further.

Son needs to be reminded of how good he can be on his day and Spurs definitely look a better side when he is performing in it.
