Sam Bryam completed 80 minutes in the away defeat to Brighton on Saturday afternoon – and the West Ham fans on Twitter teared him to shreds for his individual performance.
The 24-year-old defender was part of a backline that were ripped wide open at the Amex Stadium in the Premier League clash as they suffered a big loss.
Brighton ran out 3-1 winners to boost their survival hopes and went in front through Glenn Murray after just eight minutes.
Javier Hernandez equalised for the visitors in the first-half with his sixth goal of the season in all competitions, but a capitulation in the second period saw Jose Izquierdo and Pascal Gross get on the scoresheet.
David Moyes’ side remain 12th in the league table after a defeat and are three points above the drop zone in a crowded bottom half of the table.
The London-based are now without a win in their last three league games and are beginning to be dragged back into a relegation fight.
They host Watford on Saturday in a huge match for them, with games against Liverpool, Swansea and Burnley also shortly round the corner.
West Ham fans on social media were particular angry with full-back Byram for his efforts and feel that he really struggled defensively.
