Tottenham will reignite interest in Crystal Palace ace Wilfried Zaha in the summer, according to the Times.

The newspaper claims that Spurs will make a fresh move for the attacker at the end of the season despite two previous failed attempts to sign him in the last campaign.

It is understood that the speed machine is currently on a £100,000-a-week deal at Selhurst Park, but Spurs hope they can finally get a deal for him over the line and beat off interest from Chelsea and Manchester City in the process.

The report details that the 25-year-old could cost more than £50million for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, which means they would have to at least double their previous £21million offer that was turned down in 2016.

Zaha is an Ivory Coast international that is renowned for his blistering speed and the key player at Palace.

Good move for Spurs?

Zaha is a name that is frequently linked with Spurs and he would be a decent addition to the squad.

The right-winger has proven he can dazzle in the Premier league and is good enough to play for a top six team.

He would have to work on his final ball to become a regular starter for Spurs, but he would improve their options in the final third and has so much potential.

Likely to happen?

Spurs once again look set to attempt a move for Zaha in the summer window and surely at some point the player will want to move on from Palace to further his career.

However, the £50million-plus valuation could be a real stretch for Pochettino’s side and they did manage to sign a similar player in Lucas Moura in January for just half of that at £25million.
