West Ham manager David Moyes is eyeing summer bids for Metz midfielder Vincent Thill and FC Twente goalkeeper Joel Drommel, according to the Daily Express.

The newspaper claims that the future of Moyes is still unclear as his current deal at the London Stadium expires in the summer, but there has been a potential hint as he lines up potential summer targets.

It is understood that highly-rated 18-year-old midfielder Thill is being considered from Frnech top-flight club Metz.

The report further details that 21-year-old shot-stopper Drommel from Dutch top-flight club Twente is on Moyes’ transfer list.

Good move for West Ham?

West Ham have identified two young stars from Europe as potential summer targets, but in reality these are not the type of signings the fans want to see.

The Hammers finished in the European spots a couple of years ago and need to be attacking proven players to help them make the next step in their fabulous big ground.

Thill has made just six senior appearances under his belt in his career and would be a signing for the future, while Drommel is not the Premier League star that the London-based club need in goal to help solve their defensive problems.

Likely to happen?

These deals are far too early to consider possible given that Moyes’ future at the London Stadium is still up in the air and a new man could be in the West Ham manager’s position by the time the summer transfer window opens.
