Fernando Llorente, Danny Rose, Erik Lamela and Toby Alderweirld could all depart Tottenham in the summer, according to the Evening Standard.

The newspaper claim that it would be no surprise to see Rose and Llorente depart with the board listening to offers for their left-back, and the Spanish forward failing to make an impact since joining from Swansea City.

The Evening Standard report that Alderweirld’s future depends on whether he signs a new contract as his current deal contains a clause that will allow him to leave for a fee of £25million in 2019, and Lamela’s future is uncertain as he may move on following the arrival of Lucas Moura.

The report also shares that summer moves for Ryan Sessegnon and Malcom are on the cards, with Norwich City’s James Maddison a player to keep an eye on.

It is also believed that the club will continue to work hard in order to find a long-term replacement for Moussa Dembele who turns 31 in July.

OPINION

Three of the expected departures; Llorente, Rose and Alderweirld come as no surprise. While the the 28-year-old centre-back’s exit still looks unlikely to happen as Spurs still appear keen to resolve his bizarre contract situation, as time goes on with no solution, it would hardly be a shock for Tottenham to cash in on him. However, Lamela’s name being listed among those who could depart the club is certainly intriguing. The 25-year-old winger is known to be one of Mauricio Pochettino’s favourites and it would be hard to imagine the Spurs boss being happy to see him leave. While Moura’s arrival will clearly limit his opportunities, a summer exit seems drastic.
