Tottenham Hotspur travel north to Spotland Stadium and a clash with League One strugglers Rochdale in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Sunday, and fans have taken to Twitter to express their delight at Lucas Moura being handed his full debut.
Spurs are coming into the clash off the back of a brilliant comeback in the Champions League in midweek, walking away from the Allianz Stadium with a 2-2 draw v Juventus.
The Italian giants had gone 2-0 up within nine minutes to threaten to shatter Tottenham’s quarter-final hopes, but goals from Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen secured a crucial away draw for Spurs.
Attention now turns back to the FA Cup, with Spurs securing their passage into the last-16 with a comfortable 2-0 win over Newport County in a replay.
Opponents Rochdale secured their spot in the fifth round with a 1-0 replay win over Millwall, with Ian Henderson scoring the only goal of the game.
The focus before the game has been on the Spotland playing surface, with the Dale installing a brand-new pitch for the visit of Spurs after complaints from Mauricio Pochettino.
The Spurs manager has made a massive 11 changes for the match, with speed machine Lucas being handed his full debut after coming on as a substitute in midweek.
