Eric Dier (Central midfield) – Dier seems to be criticised when makes mistakes, and then ignored when he plays well for Spurs, which is most of the time. The midfield enforcer put in another sterling performance on Saturday, but was overshadowed by a stormer from midfield partner Mousa Dembele. That pairing must keep their places on Tuesday against a dangerous Juve side. Retains his place.
Mousa Dembele (Central midfield) – Wow. Just wow. What a performance Dembele put in for Spurs against the Gunners. The Belgian destroyer was everywhere in midfield, cutting out attacks, starting his own, and bamboozling opponents left, right and centre. It was possibly his best appearance for Spurs in his time at the club. Must play against Juventus. Retains his place.
