Marcus Rashford could opt to leave Manchester United if Justin Kluivert joins the club from Ajax, according to the Daily Express.
The newspaper claim that after falling down the pecking order at the club, the 20-year-old forward could leave for pastures new as Kluivert’s arrival could see his opportunities limited further.
The Daily Express report that Jose Mourinho is a huge fan of speed machine Rashford and has no plans to sell the England international even if Kluivert arrives in the summer.
The Daily Mirror previously reported that Man United were in advanced talks with Ajax regarding signing the 18-year-old forward, with the club ready to pay £10million to seal a deal.
Despite dropping down the pecking order at the club, Rashford has still managed to regularly feature for Manchester United this season.
The 20-year-old, who aside from playing as a centre-forward can feature on either wing, has made 37 appearances this season and scored 10 goals.
Good move for Manchester United?
No.
Rashford is a talented footballer whose best is still yet to come. The arrival of Kluivert would be very welcomed at the club as the 18-year-old is also a promising talent, but if it comes at the expense of Rashford then it’s not worth it.
The 20-year-old has previously shown his ability to adapt to a new scenario in order to still get game time, as he moved to a position on the wing after not being the number one centre-forward at the club.
Rashford is no doubt capable of changing his game once again in order to cope with the arrival of Kluivert.

No. The arrival of Kluivert will not spell the end of Rashford’s time at Manchester United as the club will not want the 20-year-old to leave whatever the scenario.
The Daily Express’ report is simply suggesting the worst case for Rashford if Kluivert joins the club, as it’s more than likely both can be accommodated at the club.
