Liverpool were in terrific form against Porto in the Champions League on Wednesday as they earned an emphatic 5-0 victory.

Sadio Mane scored a hat-trick with fellow attackers Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah getting a goal each to ensure the Reds had a memorable night in Europe.

The comfortable victory makes Liverpool look all but certain to feature in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, despite still having the second leg to play at Anfield on March 6.

The Reds’ next game is against West Ham on February 24, and fans will expect them to keep their good form going despite there being a significant amount of time to go until their next match.

Liverpool are not in action this weekend as FA Cup fixtures are taking place, and the Reds exited the competition in the last round after losing 3-2 to West Bromwich Albion.

This Is Futbol has picked out three major talking points regarding Liverpool after their win, which includes why Jurgen Klopp should make 28-year-old ace one of the first names on his team sheet.
