Everton slumped to a 5-1 defeat courtesy of Arsenal on Saturday and the game highlighted a lot of issues that need to be addressed by Sam Allardyce.

The Gunners took only six minutes to grab the lead with Aaron Ramsey tapping the ball home after a brilliant cross from Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Arsenal then score another two goals before 20 minutes had even been played, Ramsey grabbed his second of the game while Laurent Koscielny headed home the Gunners’ third.

Everton went into the half-time break 4-0 down as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang grabbed his first Arsenal goal on his debut in the 37th minute, after joining the club on Wednesday for £56million according to the BBC.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin pulled a goal back for the Toffees in the second half, but Ramsey then completed his first ever hat-trick for the club by scoring with 16 minutes left of the game.

The 5-1 defeat left the Toffees in 10th but more importantly left Allardyce with some important decisions to make for his side’s next game against Crystal Palace.
