Everton are interested in signing Galatasaray attacker Garry Rodrigues, according to Fotomac.

The Turkish publication claim that the Toffees frequently scout the 27-year-old winger and regularly inform Sam Allardyce of their findings.

Fotomac report that the Turkish giants believe Rodrigues is worth £18million, after impressing this season in the 27 appearances he has made.

During this campaign, the winger has scored six goals, while creating nine to help Galatasaray sit top of the Super Lig.

Fotomac’s report also shares that Newcastle United are still interested in signing the 27-year-old, but Rodrigues’ value is way above what they tried to pay for him in January.

Gunes previously reported that the Magpies had a bid of £7million rejected by Galatasaray for the winger.

Good move for Everton?

Yes, Rodrigues would be a wonderful summer signing for the club.

The 27-year-old has dazzled the Super Lig this season as the skillful winger is capable of getting past any defender in the league.

Rodrigues’ pace and skills would see Everton be able to bewilder Premier League defences next season and he will greatly improve their attacking threat.

Likely to happen?

Fotomac’s report shares that Galatasaray face a difficult task keeping him at the club, and there’s a lot of reasons to believe he will depart the Turkish giants in the near future.

With Newcastle United being the Toffees’ only reported competition at this time, Sam Allardyce’s side should have no problem beating them to his signature.

The Toffees have shown in the past that they’re capable of splashing cash, unlikely the Magpies, and this will see them win the race for Rodrigues.
