Leeds United have made an approach to sign Italian centre-forward Moise Kean, according to a reliable journalist.
Sky Sports Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has reported on his personal website that the Whites have made an enquiry for the 17-year-old that is currently on loan at Hellas Verona from Juventus.
It is understood that the teenager is likely to see out his season-long loan with Serie A club Hellas, where he is enjoying regular first-team action.
However, the report details that Thomas Christiansen’s side are keen to add him to their attack and would be prepared to offer him a wage hike in the summer.
Good move for Leeds?
Leeds are certainly crying out for a new striker to lead their line as they still haven’t really replaced Chris Wood at Elland Road.
Kean is an extremely highly-rated talent in his homeland Italy and is already showing his quality in the top flight.
The youngster has made 16 appearances so far this campaign for Hellas and scored two goals in return.
He has also represented Juventus four times at senior level in the past with his only goal coming in Serie A against Bologna.
It would be a remarkable deal if Leeds were to pull of a swoop for Kean as he is being tipped for greatness and would surely thrive off service from the likes of Samu Said and Pablo Hernandez.

Likely to happen?
It appear that a January deal is off the cards completely as Kean looks set to see out his loan move with Hellas.
Leeds may be prepared to fork out a big increase on wages for the striker in the future, but it would be a surprise to see the player leave Juventus.
The Yorkshire giants will hope they have the pull of Premier League football next season behind them to try help wrap up deals like this one.
