Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to hail Juan Foyth for his performance in their 3-0 FA Cup win against AFC Wimbledon on Sunday.
Foyth was handed his fourth Spurs appearance, all of which have been starts, as he lined up alongside Jan Vertonghen in central defence as Mauricio Pochettino selected a strong side for the clash at Wembley.
Tottenham laboured in the opening period but cruised to win in the second period through a Harry Kane double and a first goal in more than four years for Vertonghen.
Foyth delivered a sound account of himself as he was given the opportunity to build upon the solid impression he has made in his previous run-outs in the League Cup and Champions League.
Still waiting to make his Premier League debut, the Argentina Under-20 international demonstrated his promise, albeit against the League One minnows.
Tottenham fans took to social media en masse to rave about the potential of the 19-year-old.
This Is Futbol has rounded up some of the best tweets:
Wanted to say how good Foyth was, looked so composed all the time. Dealt with the pressure amazingly. A real talent there

Things we learned today. Lorente can’t start, Aurier must be 1st choice RB, Foyth looks promising and Trees are tricky #COYS #FOYG

Thought Foyth looked decent today and Lamela played well,
Llorente up front was a absolute clown today, couldn’t hold the ball up and kept losing it, it’s no coincidence we scored 2 mins after he went off #coys— Kevin Gower™ (@KGower83) January 7, 2018
I’m sure Juan Foyth is my paper boy. #COYS
