Tottenham expected XI v Everton

|

Hugo Lloris (Goalkeeper) – Lloris was handed a rare rest in the FA Cup as number two Michel Vorm got the nod. The status quo is expected to be restored on Saturday. Lloris for Vorm.

Serge Aurier (Right-back) – Kieran Trippier started against Wimbledon and put in a good shift as they overcame their lower league opponents. However, speedster Aurier has been in the better form and has slowly inched his way towards being Tottenham’s best choice at right-back. Aurier for Trippier.

Davinson Sanchez (Centre-back) – The young Colombian has begun to look fallible recently after a peerless start to life in a Spurs shirt, and was given a rest in the FA Cup. Juan Foyth started in his place and looked good again, but Sanchez should get the nod as usual in the league. Sanchez for Foyth.

Jan Vertonghen (Centre-back) – Vertonghen scored his first goal since October 2013 with a long-range deflected strike against the Dons, and that is just reward for a brilliant season so far for the Belgian. Expected to retain his place on Saturday.

Ben Davies (Left-back) – Davies has been Spurs’ regular left-back in recent games after an injury to Danny Rose, but he was rested against Wimbledon to allow young Kyle Walker-Peters a game. Davies is however expected to take up his place once again v Everton. Davies for Walker-Peters.
