Harry Winks (Central midfield) – Winks has been out of favour for Pochettino in recent weeks, ever since he put in a below-par performance against Manchester City. However, Spurs have missed his pinpoint passing and go-forward attitude in the middle, and for that reason he must start against the Toffees. Winks for Mousa Dembele.
Victor Wanyama (Central midfield) – Wanyama’s return from injury has been a welcome boost for Spurs recently, and the big enforcer got his first start of the season against the Dons. The Kenyan powerhouse is such a good option in midfield, merely for the ground he covers and the shield he provides for the defence. Must play on Saturday to provide a foil for Winks. Retains his place.
