Newcastle United welcome Swansea City to St. James’ Park on Saturday in a crucial Premier League relegation clash, and Rafa Benitez is expected to make four changes from the side that beat Luton 3-1 in the third round of the FA Cup.

A double from Ayoze Perez, who has now scored three goals so far in 2018, and a strike from Jonjo Shelvey sealed their passage into the fourth round at the expense of the Hatters.

The Magpies have been going through a decent spell of late, beating Stoke 1-0 in their last match in the Premier League to climb to 13th in the table.

That win made it back-to-back away victories in the league for Benitez’s men, after a thrilling 3-2 win over West Ham two games before.

They will hope to win successive games in the Premier League for only the second time this season against bottom club Swansea, who are coming off a loss to Tottenham.

New boss Carlos Carvalhal enjoyed a surprise win in his first game as Swans boss, with his team coming from a goal behind to beat Watford 2-1 at Vicarage Road.

They face an FA Cup replay after a 0-0 draw with Wolves, but their focus must turn to Newcastle on Saturday.

This is Futbol have selected Newcastle’s expected XI v Swansea, including a recall for one speed machine and the axe for another in four changes.
