Tiemoue Bakayoko has been named in the starting XI against Huddersfield on Tuesday night – and Chelsea fans on Twitter have slammed the team selection.
Antonio Conte has opted to include the 23-year-old in his side for the trip away to Huddersfield in the Premier League.
The Blues have the opportunity to stretch their position in third in the league table with a win and will be overwhelming favourites to pick up three away points.
However, they suffered a major setback with an away defeat against West Ham at the weekend and will need an immediate response.
Chelsea fans on social media were furious to se central midfielder Bakayoko named in the side against Huddersfield, where he will partner N’Golo Kante.
He has become a real villain with supporters since his summer arrival at Stamford Bridge, but has been given the nod ahead of Cesc Fabregas and Danny Drinkwater in midweek.
This Is Futbol has rounded up some of the best tweets:
How is Bakayoko still in the team? Like seriously? Drinkwater surely could have gotten the start. #CFC

Bakayoko has struggled since his big-money move to Chelsea in the summer from Monaco and is certainly still adjusting to the Premier League.
The powerhouse central midfielder has already made 20 appearances across all competitions this season for Conte, but is certainly not a guaranteed starter.
He will hope to prove a lot of Chelsea doubters wrong against mid-table Huddersfield and cement his spot in the team.
