Angelo Ogbonna completed 90 minutes in the draw against Leicester on Friday night – and West Ham fans on Twitter ripped into their own player after his display.
The Hammers drew 1-1 against the Foxes in the Premier League during David Moyes’ first home game in charge.
Marc Albrighton opened the scoring for the visitors early in the first-half as he converted Jamie Vardy’s cross, which Ogbonna failed to clear in the penalty area after a mistimed kick.
Cheikhou Kouyate equalised for the hosts on the stroke of half-time with a header and the teams shared the points.
West Ham remain in the relegation zone despite the draw and moved up to 10 points after their opening 13 league games.
They now turn their attention to a mid-week clash away to Everton in the league as Moyes returns to one of his former clubs.
West Ham fans on social media highlighted the performance of Ogbonna after the match and feel that he really struggled in defence.
The 29-year-old centre-back was criticised for his efforts and many supporters believe he should be dropped moving forward.
This Is Futbol has rounded up some of the best tweets:
Ogbonna needs to be dropped from the 11. He is terrible just lacks any sort of urgency and awareness always looks shaky and nervy.

So annoying still that it’s another error that leads to Leicester’s goal. Ogbonna should be dealing with the ball in the box with ease

Seriously mate. Ogbonna, he can barely kick a ball.

Tonight also confirmed for me that Ogbonna should have no future at the club

Ogbonna has become a mainstay in the defence recently and started the last four consecutive Premier League games.
The left-footed defender is an experienced player with 13 international caps for Italy under his belt, but is currently struggling to impact a struggling backline.
He could find his position under threat in the next couple of games as both Declan Rice and James Collins wait in reserve.
