Gylfi Sigurdsson completed 85 minutes during a dramatic win over Watford – and Everton fans on Twitter ripped into him for his performance.
The 28-year-old attacking midfielder once again struggled to make a serious impact in front of goal, but his side did pick up three points before the international break.
Caretaker boss David Unsworth saw his team pick up an unlikely 3-2 win at Goodison Park to drag the Merseyside club out of the relegation places of the Premier League.
Watford were firmly in the ascendancy at 2-0 after second-half goals from Richardson and Christian Kabasele.
However, the Toffees sparked a dramatic revival with goals from Oumar Niasse and Dominic Calvert-Lewin drawing them level.
Leighton Baines then scored the winner from the penalty spot in injury-time, but former Everton player Tom Cleverley missed a chance to earn a point for the visitors before dragging his penalty wide.
Everton fans will have been delighted to pick up a memorable win, but still singled out playmaker Sigurdsson for his ineffective display in the game.

Sigurdsson’s difficult start at Everton continued as he is still yet to register a goal or an assist in the Premier League this season.
The Iceland international is known for his technical ability and goal threat, but has been unable to live up to the hefty £45million price tag.
He proved during his time with Swansea that he can be a very effective playmaker in the Premier League and will be desperate to rediscover his top form.
Sigurdsson has struggled at times from being deployed in a wide position and is normally at his best in the central number 10 role.
