Newcastle United earned a 2-2 away draw against West Brom on Tuesday night in the Premier League and there were plenty of talking points after the game.

The hosts were firmly in the ascendancy with a two-goal load courtesy of goals from Hal Robson-Kanu and academy product Sam Field.

However, the Magpies fought back to earn a point on the road through a Ciaran Clark header and a Jonny Evans own goal late on.

Rafael Benitez’s side are now 12th in the league table after ending their four-game losing streak and turn their attention to an away clash against Chelsea at the weekend.

The North East club have lost on their last four trips to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League, but should be buoyed by their second-half comeback against the Baggies.
