Lejeune a bargain at £8.7m

Newcastle may have suffered a defeat at the weekend, but it was another positive display from defender Florian Lejeune.

The 26-year-old arrived from Spanish club Eibar in the summer and is turning out to be a bargain signing for the North East club.

His £8.7million fee is looking to be money well spent as the centre-back is beginning to adjust to English football.

Lejeune was very classy in possession in the defeat against Bournemouth and can be a real driving force this season with his composure.

He has now overtaken Ciaran Clark in the pecking order and looks a brilliant acquisition by Benitez.
