Tottenham expected XI against Dortmund

|

Goalkeeper and defence

Hugo Lloris (Goalkeeper) – The goalkeeper is unlikely to be rested against Dortmund, unless he is still feeling the thigh problem that forced him to withdraw from international duty.

Davinson Sanchez (Centre-back) – With Toby Alderweireld out injured until at least Christmas, the Colombian is a key figure in a backline that was beaten twice by Arsenal at the weekend. Sanchez was unfortunate that his clean tackle on Alexis Sanchez wrongly resulted in a free-kick, from which the home side scored the opener.

Juan Foyth (Centre-back) – The summer signing could be handed just his third Spurs appearance since joining in the summer, with Eric Dier possibly given a rare breather in the first of the changes to Pochettino’s side.

Jan Vertonghen (Centre-back) – Vertonghen is one of Spurs’ most consistent performers, and has been colossal this season. He will be key if Tottenham are to secure a notable win in Dortmund.
