Paul Ince believes Liverpool will enjoy a fantastic afternoon when they host Premier League champions Chelsea at Anfield on Saturday.
The former Liverpool skipper is confident that Jurgen Klopp’s will secure an important three points against the Blues on Merseyside with a 2-1 victory.
The Reds have been sensational form at home in recent weeks, winning three of their last four matches in all competitions, keeping four cleans sheets in the process.
However, Liverpool suffered a massive setback in midweek when they let 3-0 lead slip against Sevilla to draw in the Champions League.
Writing in his column for the Express, Ince believes that the Merseyside club will bounce right back from their disappointing European result to shock Antonio Conte’ side.
“This pick might shock a few people, but that famous Anfield atmosphere and crowd, paired with their unbelievable attacking players, could just be a bit too much for Chelsea,” he said.
“But you can almost guarantee they’ll leak a goal in the process!”
