David Unsworth is expected to make two changes as he leads Everton into his fifth game as caretaker manager against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Unsworth has overseen three defeats from four games in charge of the Toffees, but they entered the international break in high spirits after a rousing 3-2 win over Watford.

The caretaker boss is expected to keep faith with the majority of the team that overcame the Hornets, but may look to bring in some pace out wide as they travel to the boisterous Selhurst Park.

Everton are currently sitting in 15th on 11 points, with Palace lying bottom of the Premier League having accrued just four points so far this season.

The Toffees have been on the hunt for a new manager since the sacking of Ronald Koeman, but no tangible progress has been made with candidates slowly but surely ruling themselves out of the running.

Unsworth will be hoping for a win against Palace that would catapult him right into the frame to take the job on a permanent basis.

This is Futbol pick Everton’s expected starting XI, including two changes and a return for one experienced member of Unsworth’s squad, with another dropping to the bench.
