Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to express their delight that their club are reportedly lining up Wilfried Zaha to replace Alexis Sanchez.
The Sun claimed on Sunday morning that the north London giants are ready to launch a £35million bid for the Crystal Palace winger as they prepare for the imminent exit of main man Sanchez.
It is said that the Chilean superstar could depart in January or when his contract expires next summer, and Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is convinced that Zaha has the ability to replace him.
Zaha is regarded as one of the Premier League’s most exciting wide players and is renowned for his speedy and eyecatching tricks.
He has returned from injury to earn Palace’s only points of the season with the winner against Chelsea and last-gasp equaliser in their clash with West Ham.
The 25-year-old former Manchester United player has scored two goals from five matches this season after an excellent 2016-17 in which his 35 league matches yielded seven goals and 11 assists.
A large section of Arsenal fans are excited at the prospect of their team strongly pursuing Zaha and believe he could be a really smart acquisition.

Zaha at Arsenal, won’t we be having two Alex Iwobi’s

Zaha for £35m would be incredible if we get rid of Theo for £25m. We need more players who will take on defenders. Zaha is persistent, better than Theo technically & hard working. Very good player overall. Thoughts?

I wouldn’t be that upset as replacement 4 Sanchez. Zaha has ripped the best teams in legaue apart single handed. Still hasn’t even reached his prime. Would love see him @Arsenal

Though i think Zaha has alot to offer, I’d take him over Sterling any day
