Ezgjan Alioski posted his best moments from Leeds United’s 3-1 defeat at Brentford on Twitter on Monday – and supporters raged at what they claimed was a selfish and thoughtless message.
The Macedonia international took to social media to share his “best moments” goal from the game at Griffin Park.
My best moments & my goal against Brentford in the last Championship game with Leeds before the international break.#ea10 #lufc #mot https://t.co/hmZsVkfzyF

But supporters were furious with Alioski given the team’s predicament following what was their sixth defeat in seven league matches and seventh loss in eight games in all competitions.
The 25-year-old has started 14 of Leeds’ 16 Championship matches since his summer move from Swiss side Lugano but has struggled to make an impression, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
A large section of United fans urged Alioski to be more focused on the team than his individual contributions.

It’s about the team not about you. This kind of stuff needs to stop. It’s not helping.

It looks to be more about him being a brand rather than being part of the team to me.

You can’t be tweeting stuff like this when we lost and in very bad form. You need to have a rethink of the PR for Alioski, cos this ain’t on
