Everton have been linked to former Watford manager Walter Mazzarri and Hornets fans have reacted hilariously on Twitter.
Current manager Ronald Koeman is under pressure after a poor start to the season for Everton.
After seven games they’re in 16th in the Premier League, with four defeats – the last coming on Sunday when they lost 1-0 to Burnley at home.
The Sun has reported that Everton had already sounded out Mazzarri, who was said to be keen on a move to Merseyside.
They say that if Koeman is axed he is ready to jet in for an interview.
But Everton fans aren’t happy and don’t see Mazzari as a suitable replacement for Koeman.
Mazzarri was axed as Watford manager at the end of last season and hasn’t found a new club since.
