Leeds right-back Luke Ayling signed a new four-year contract and committed himself to Elland Road until 2021 on Thursday.
The player, who has quickly become a fan favourite at Elland Road, signed from Bristol City two years ago and has made 58 appearances for Leeds.
He’s started every game for Thomas Christiansen this season, making 12 appearances in the Championship – playing 90 minutes in each – and three in the League Cup.
He will be expected to line-up against Bristol City on Saturday and fans will have an extra reason to cheer his name after the news of his contract extension was announced on the official Leeds Twitter page.

Talking to Leeds TV after the deal was confirmed, Ayling said, “I’m buzzing to have signed and now you’re stuck with me for another four years.
“My baby has been born here, I’ve bought a house nearby and this really feels like home now.”
Leeds fans took to Twitter to celebrate the news with one saying that Thomas Christiansen won’t make a better signing all season.
