Celtic fans have reacted with dismay after Patrick Roberts limped out of the game against Kilmarnock with what looked like a hamstring injury.

Celtic maintained their unbeaten domestic record but couldn’t secure the three points against a spirited Kilmarnock side on Saturday afternoon.

Leigh Griffiths put Celtic in the lead in the 43rd minute but Jordan Jones equalised to share the points in the second half.

However, Celtic suffered some bad news when Roberts limped off with what looked like a hamstring injury after 30 minutes.

He was replaced by Scott Sinclair and Brendan Rodgers confirmed after the game that he would miss the Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

One fan said it would be a “massive blow” if he wasn’t available for the game and another has already ruled the player out saying, “Doubt it matters how quickly Roberts came off or how mild the potential hamstring injury is, he’ll be out of Tuesday night’s game.”
