Spurs’ midfield powerhouse could come back into the side against Dortmund after playing a substitute role against Everton and may feel under pressure for his place.
The Belgian started the first three games of the season before the Everton clash and is considered a mainstay in Pochettino’s XI.
However, Eric Dier and Moussa Sissoko both impressed at the weekend in the centre of the park, while there is still Victor Wanyama to return from injury.
Dembele, 30, will be keen to put a big display in against Dortmund to prove that he warrants a permanent starting role this season.
