Midfield
Mile Jedinak (Centre-midfield) – The Australian was back on the bench at the weekend and should be thrown back into the starting XI against Boro. He is a highly influential figure in the centre and can help keep possession. He is the first of the four changes to the side as he should replace Onomah.
Glenn Whelan (Centre-midfield) – The combative midfield should continue in the side and just needs to be a little bit quicker on the ball.
Conor Hourihane (Centre-midfield) – He has four goals in five league games so far this season and could be the most likely threat to score against Boro as he bursts forward.
