A host of Premier League clubs were in attendance to scout Aston Villa attacker Keinan Davis on Tuesday night, according to the Mirror.

The newspaper claim that Manchester United, Arsenal and Everton all had representatives watching Villa’s 4-0 away win over Burton in the Championship.

It is understood that some of the Premier League’s giants watched the league match and that it’s unlikely they were keeping tabs on anyone except the 19-year-old.

Davis has been in brilliant form for Vila in recent weeks and has become a mainstay in the side.

The England Under-20 International has scored twice and assisted another in his last three games, including a powerful header in the rout over Burton.

Good move for Villa?

Davis has burst into the Villa first team this year and become an important player under Steve Bruce.

The Midlands giants must not let him go at any costs and should benefit from his development over the next couple of years.

He already looks a real handful at the age of 19 and is proving himself to be capable in the Championship.

Davis is currently keeping Scott Hogan on the bench at Villa Park and there is a real excitement growing around the teenager.

Likely to happen?

It seems quite unlikely that Davis is going to be leaving Villa Park anytime soon, despite the fact that his future seems destined to be in the Premier League.

The Mirror report states that a number of top-flight clubs were in attendance to watch the rising star and that I hardly a surprise.

Davis is beginning to make a name for himself at Championship level and the fact that he is also in Englands youth sides will draw Premier League teams to his potential.

However, there is no indication that the youngster could be on the move and Villa would surely be resident if an approach was made.
