Tottenham made life hard for themselves against West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday.
Harry Kane scored twice and Christian Eriksen scored a third and Spurs were cruising at 3-0 up.
But West Ham got one back in the 65th minute through Javier Hernandez and then Serge Aurier was sent off for Tottenham in the 70th minute for a second yellow card.
West Ham took the initiative and Cheikhou Kouyate pulled a second goal back in the 87th minute to set up a tense finale.
However, Mauricio Pochettino’s men clung on to secure the three points, which took them to fourth in the Premier League – five points behind the two Manchester teams at the top.
