Mauricio Pochettino announced his starting XI to play Borussia Dortmund at Wembley on Wednesday night, and Tottenham fans were in heaven when they found out Serge Aurier was playing.
It marks Aurier’s Tottenham debut after a late summer transfer was confirmed from Paris Saint-Germaain.
The £22.5million transfer was in some doubt after he had problems getting a Visa, but that was sorted in time for the August 31 deadline.
Kieran Trippier makes way but is on the bench alongside Kyle Walker-Peters.
The team news was announced on the official Tottenham Twitter account on Wednesday evening, ahead of the 7.45pm kick-off at Wembley.

Tottenham fans will be hopping for three points at Wembley in a crucial Champions League game.
They know that with CL favourites Real Madrid in their group, that they’re probably contesting the second qualifying spot against Dortmund, and a win at home is vital.
