Three things we learned from Tottenham in win v Dortmund

|

Wembley hoodoo?

So, no Wembley hoodoo?

A win was welcome tonight but there’s still a way to go before fans will feel comfortable marching down Wembley way prior to kick-off in the big games.

Despite being the tightest defence in the Premier League last season, Hugo Lloris hasn’t kept a clean sheet at Wembley in the last 11 games now.

That needs to change and it needs to change fast.

If Tottenham can string a run of clean sheets together in the Premier League, they might be able to do the same against some of the stronger opponents in the Champions League.

If they can keep Real Madrid out, we might finally concede that the hoodoo is dead.
