Man United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is in ongoing talks with his club after the contract offer he’s been given has reportedly fallen short of what he wants.
And Man United fans think that he’s getting ideas above his station.
Fellaini is highly regarded by manager Jose Mourinho, but is about to turn 30 and United’s policy is said to be to offer rolling one-year contracts at this point in a player’s career.
Fellaini is holding out for more, and it is reported in the Daily Mail that he has been “courted by clubs from Italy and Turkey”.
He would be free to talk to clubs in January about a free transfer, with his current contract set to run out in June.
Fellaini started his first game of the season against Everton, as Man United hammered Ronald Koeman’s side 4-0.
