Leeds are set to meet two of their former stars tonight as they take on Premier League Burnley in the EFL Cup at Turf Moor.
Charlie Taylor left Leeds for a compensation fee rumoured to be around £7million after refusing to sign a new contract at Elland Road.
Chris Wood made a late and dramatic £15million switch to join him.
It left Leeds with the prospect of replacing their main goal scorer from last season, but they’ve flourished without him and go into the game with Burnley top of the Championship.
Burnley manager Sean Dyche has confirmed that he will ring the changes for the game, which might mean Chris Wood doesn’t start.
But Charlie Taylor is expected to get a run out after being dropped from the last two matchday squads.
Leeds fans have taken to Twitter in anticipation of the possible reunion.

Reckon Burnley will be similar to Millwall. Need Ayling & Berardi to keep Taylor & the wingers quiet & stop them lumping balls at Wood #lufc

Hope people don't boo Chris Wood tonight. He wanted to play Premier League football and you can't grudge against him for that #lufc

I'm all for players having ambition but not refusing to play. End of the day he downed tools and should be remembered for that. Same as CT
